A series of ten small aquariums invites the visitor to discover the fish that can be found in the stagnant waters of temperate and tropical regions: the Arowana, the glass fish… as well as amphibians such as the South African Xenopus frog or even a neotenic species, the Axolotl, capable of reproducing while it is still in a larval state.
Several large murals, illustrating the four seasons, represent most of the species a hiker could encounter in the ponds and lakes in our latitudes. An audio system allows one to listen to recordings of bird cries, the croaking of frogs, all while visualising these animals in the paintings.
