Accessibility for people with reduced mobility
To the right of the main entrance, a lateral entry door is located at street and parking level and allows visitors with reduced mobility to enter the Institute without difficulties and easily access the large elevator that will allow them to reach the Aquarium in the basement and the Zoology Museum on the 2nd floor of the Institute (excepting the Madrepore Room).
How to proceed?
- If you aren’t accompanied:
A parking space is strictly reserved for people with reduced mobility: it is located right next to this lateral access. Ring the bell and the personnel at the front desk will be made aware of your presence and come down to open the door and escort you to the elevator.
- If you are accompanied:
The companion is invited to go the Aquarium front desk by the main entrance. Upon a request the welcoming personnel will go open the lateral door and escort you to the elevator.
