Discover the fascinating universe of the Aquatic World and the diversity of the Animal Kingdom over the course of a morning or an afternoon. A guide will accompany you and liven up your visit either of the Aquarium – followed by an unaccompanied visit to the Zoology Museum – or of the Zoology Museum – followed by an unaccompanied visit to the Aquarium.
The visits – standard or thematic – are always personalised and interactive. They are carried out by scientists, are adapted to all kinds of public and are not only intended for large groups, but also to families and individuals.
The unaccompanied visit of the Zoology Museum, included in the entrance fee, can take place either before or after the guided visit of the Aquarium, and vice versa.
Depending on your preferences, thematic visits can be organised during which precise topics can be presented. Some examples for the Aquarium include: biology of aquatic organisms, adaptations of aquatic organisms to their environment, aquatic ecosystems, and Human impact on the aquatic environment… Some examples for the Museum include: the mechanisms of animal evolution and current biodiversity, comparative anatomy of Vertebrates and the adaptations of Mammals, the diversity of Belgian fauna, rare, endangered or extinct species…
